Walt Disney World Running Paths

If you love Disney and love to run or jog, you will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of runners and joggers that frequently run on property. Not only resort guest but even some locals are drawn to run in this magical place. What is the big appeal that draws in so many runners?

walt disney world running paths1.  Safe – Primarily this is a safe location to run. Their are generally cast members all over property and security. The Walt Disney World running paths, sidewalks, and roads are generally well lit. Not to mention the property is well kept up and in pristine condition. You will be hard pressed to find broken sidewalks or debris on your path. Of course, no matter where you run, always be vigilant and aware of your surroundings.

2. Scenic – Walt Disney World running paths are set beautiful locations. Their is a lot to look at and take in. Besides the lush vegetation, beautiful buildings, and lakes, you also have the small, magical details that Disney fans love, expect, and adore.

Very little Vehicle Traffic/Congestion – If you run on a trail or sidewalk it is likely you won’t have to contend with vehicles except and occasional cast member in a golf cart. The early morning hours are very peaceful and you will probably see very few guest wandering around. Mostly it will just be other runners and cast members who are preparing for the day.

Disney’s Boardwalk Running Path

Disney’s Boardwalk is one of our favorite places to run at Walt Disney World . This magical trek starts you off at the Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, winds you along Crescent Lake to EPCOT’s International Gateway. Then brings you alongside the Yacht Club, Beach Club, the Swan and Dolphin hotels then heads off toward Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Finally bringing you back to the Boardwalk.
